How can I contact the InfoCentre?

Come in to the Central Branch of the Vancouver Public Library, at 350 West Georgia Street, Vancouver; or you can phone us at 604.331.3624 or send us an e-mail .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address)

 

What are your hours?

The Skilled Immigrant InfoCentre will be open during the hours that the Central Library is open.  However, we may ask clients to book an appointment and return if we are unable to assist them during regular hours: Monday to Thursday, 10 am to 9pm; Friday and Saturday, 10 am to 6pm; Sunday, 12pm to 5pm, (closed on Statutory holidays).

 

Where is the Skilled Immigrant InfoCentre?

The Skilled Immigrant InfoCentre is located on Level 4 of the Central Library, 350 West Georgia St. (between Robson Street and Georgia Street on Homer).

 

What is your definition of a “skilled immigrant”?

Our definition of a “skilled immigrant” is a person residing in British Columbia for ten years or less, who qualified and / or gained skills and experience in a trade or profession in their country of origin.

 

What is the Skilled Immigrant InfoCentre?

The InfoCentre is a free service that will assist skilled immigrants gather and understand labour market information.  This information can be used to help find employment leads in a trade or profession that matches their previous skills, knowledge and experience.
