Vancouver Public Library provides a wealth of resources for job seekers including:

  • Books on careers, resumes, cover letters, and interviews
  • Trade journals and magazines
  • Online databases with lists of companies
  • “One Stop Job Search @ Your Library” - job and career search tours which give information on: investigating new careers, and finding unadvertised jobs.  Free drop-in tours are offered every Tuesday at 6:00 PM,  Wednesday at 2:30 PM and every Saturday at 10:30 AM on Level 4 at the Central library.  http://www.vpl.ca/events/details/career_job_search_tours
